Good question!
When I was a student at the University of Michigan, I became very involved with a student organization called University Christian Outreach (UCO). This group has had a remarkable impact on my life, and I have had a ton of adventures while developing a strong circle of friends who encourage and call each other on spiritually. UCO is sponsored by the Word of Life Community in Ann Arbor, which is part of an organization of ecumenical Christian communities called the Sword of the Spirit. There are communities like this all over the world with UCO chapters similar to the one in Ann Arbor. Starting at the end of August, I will be dedicating a year of my life to serving with another UCO chapter. I will be moving to London, England to volunteer with their UCO, which is called Koinonia. My hope is to support this organization in the same way that it has supported me for the past several years, grow in my relationship with the Lord, and to serve and build the Kingdom of God.
